1. Charge the lighter with the included micro USB cord into any USB port for about 1 hour or until the five blue lights are lit. Charge prior to first use.
2. Remove the top cover. To ignite, slide the cover on the handle up until it clicks and then push the power button. To turn off release pressure on the power button. The ignition will also shut off after 7 seconds of holding the power button.
3. After use, slide safety cover down, replace with cover and store in a safe place out of reach of children. To hang the lighter, pull out the ring on the bottom.
4. For best performance keep top Smartignition contacts clean of candle wax or dirt. If there is residue or build-up around the tip contacts, while the unit is off clean with small dry brush or cloth.
5. Recharge when the battery is low or at least once every 6 months to help keep the battery active.
